Questions On Lebanon's Status And Role In The New Middle East

The American Congress agreed, almost unanimously, on what is known as the Syria Accountability Act. This "Act" will probably be submitted to the Senate as well, in order to become a new "legitimate weapon" in the hands of the White House for its campaign against what it calls "international terror." Whatever the "small" local Lebanese accountability's stance is from the Syrian regime in general and the so-called "Syrian presence" in Lebanon, the regional and international "large" accountability system has produced this decision as a warning siren that touches the entire Lebanese situation, among others.  

A short while earlier, "General" Aoun had gone to Washington to make a preplanned "testimony" before the Congress committee, filled with Zionists, and he implied that a "coalition" could be formed on the Lebanese grounds in the process of holding Syria accountable; this coalition could resemble that of the Afghan North Alliance or Iraqi Kurd one. The "General's" people also leaked information according to which "Syria's days" in Lebanon are coming to an end. As honest as ever, he told the Americans that they had appointed Syria to enter the Lebanese territories, and hence were the only ones capable of making it leave. Actually, he had always opposed the U.S. and been in the European camp, and this move only means that there is an undeclared project of a Euro-American deal, where the "General" plays the role of a special pawn, in a game that is way bigger than his cliché "sovereignty" game.

In an completely opposed way to the General's, Patriarch Sfeir visited the U.S. in an attempt to strengthen the Christian Lebanese bridges with "Catholic America, as one of the necessary moves to enhance the American-Lebanese relations. Moreover, he is paying visits to Western Europe where he is welcome the best way a Mid-Eastern official can ever be welcomed. He stated that he supported General Aoun's ends, but not his means. 

It seems that the American plan of politically reshaping the region is happening like a charm, knowing that it might also include the change of the countries' map.

It is completely wrong to think that sinking Lebanon in debts and imprisoning it under the international monopolizing financial sums, as well as the large-scale emigration plan for the Lebanese citizens, and the change of the economic, social and demographic structure, are all nothing but "misfortune."

All the latter is meant to bring the Lebanese morals down and destroy their will, not to mention to paralyze their national independent decision so that opponents who seek "mastership" such as the "General" and Taif and confessional supporters can go loose in Washington, Paris, London and other international capitals of wealth and power, as to launch them in a race "to save!" Lebanon.

The latest American "Act" against Syria is a link in the chain of this plan, which obviously aims at offering a "new version" of the Sykes-Picot agreement to the peoples of the region. This is exactly what made the "General" rush into testifying in Washington, as to enjoy his famous arrogance, just like Bashir Gemayel enjoyed his last moments with the project of "Zionizing" Lebanon.

In this globalization era, heroes are no longer the countries themselves, but rather the international financial blocs that subjugate the countries, including America, the superpower. The two current main "heroes" are:

1-     The financial Jewish-Anglo-Saxon front, located in the U.S. and stretching all the way to Europe.

2-     The financial Catholic-European front, centered in Europe and stretching all the way to the U.S.

In order to understand what is truly happening on the Arab-Islamic scene in particular, and the international scene in general, one should notice the third hero standing along with the two latter. It is the financial Arab-Islamic bloc, which is "centered" in the depths of the oil wells.

In the light of this background, surely in the Israeli "peace" era, which the international Zionist-Imperialism wants to impose on Arabs, after a complete legitimization of the Israeli entity, Lebanon will play a key and special role in the international accounts of the international financial blocs.

Heads of these blocs believe Lebanon enjoys "qualities" that "entitle" it for this role, most importantly:

* Its location, geographic nature and heterogeneous demographic structure, which qualifies him to become the link between Christians, Muslims and Jews, between Europe and the world on one hand, and the Mid-Eastern "inside" on the other hand, starting with Syria in particular.

* The nature of its fragile confessional system and the Trojan horses inside, as well as the traditions of some of its mercantile categories, which are ready at any time to sell anything to anyone for the lowest price, not to mention the cosmopolitan relations of these categories.

Considering this unique situation, Lebanon provides two conditions:

First: to make it, as an "excellent" foreign power location, an exceptional financial and trade center for both the financial blocs, which would be as "harmonious" as possible with the situation in Lebanon, on the one hand, and on the other, the European-Catholic and Arab-Islamic blocs.

Second: it is a geographic and non-geographic stretch of Israel, knowing that the latter is also qualified to be the exceptional financial and trade center of the Jewish-Anglo-Saxon front.

Hence, major strategic, economic and political projects will be implemented such as emptying Lebanon in general and South Lebanon in particular, from most of the "rebels" and taking over its territories by all means, as to turn it into the largest open trade and financial center in the Middle East; building an international road and a trailer surrounding the Mediterranean; building a bridge or tunnel in the Gibraltar Straight to finish the surrounding belt; reviving the Dead Sea; stretching oil, gas and water pipes from Turkey to the Nile Valley, and vice versa, passing through Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the "Palestinian State" and Israel of course, all the way to Europe, America and the rest of the world; establishing an international communications network that starts at the Mediterranean and bonds continents and oceans together, etc.

The new version of Sykes-Picot, amended in accordance with the change in the international balance of power within the imperial camp is would be to make the historical Palestine (Israel and the "Palestinian state"), Jordan and Iraq an Anglo-Saxon-Zionist region of power, after having been an English one; Great Lebanon and Syria would become a European-Catholic power zone after having been a French one; moreover, Russians would also play a role in this process as Russia had been a "background" partner in the Sykes-Picot treaty.

This is a serious problem facing Lebanon's future, and a real national stance should be made before the country is crucified on a Zionist cross. Syria is also jeopardized and Lebanon can only be given this role if Syria is occupied or subjugated.
