"An End to Evil: How to Win the War on Terror?"
I think that the Arab reader shares my opinion, which is that we would win over terrorism if we send the neo-conservative gang to Guantanamo Bay, let Cuban investigators inspect their collaboration with Israel, and if Ariel Sharon and his war criminal partisans, would stand before the International Criminal Court in Lahaye.
Once we are done with these killers, and those who cover for them; to the extent of becoming their partners in crime, we would be able to live in a world free from motives for terrorism. This does not mean that terrorism would be completely eradicated, but that one of its main causes would be eliminated.
I started my column with the title of Richard Perle and David Frum's new book; Frum is an Israeli apologist that was one of George Bush's speechwriters, and was fired for claiming that he coined the expression "axis of evil."
There is an axis of evil; Israel, neo-conservatives and all those supporting or protecting them. This axis of evil is the reason behind the global hatred of the U.S., and the crazy terrorism that everyone suffers from.
The two writers call for overthrowing the Iranian and Syrian regimes, an offensive policy against North Korea, and a new siege of Cuba. However, their real war is against the United States itself, as they want the U.S. president to attack the CIA, the FBI, and the State Department, and to purify the Defense Department, until no one is left in the country except Israeli collaborators like them.
I ordered the book. I went to Saudi Arabia where I bumped into Michael Saba, an old friend, who was one of the first Arab-American to counter the supporters of Israeli. We reviewed our 25 years of work against neo-conservatives, which are erroneously thought to have a double-loyalty, but their only loyalty remains for Israel, since every war they suggest or promote, inevitably leads to the death of young Americans. However, the latter are insignificant because they die in the service of Israel's interests, as is happening in Iraq, on a daily basis.
In March 1978, Michael Saba was at the coffee shop of Madison Hotel in Washington DC; on the table next to him were three men who were promptly joined by a fourth one, who presented himself as Steven Bryen, a member in the Senate's committee on Foreign Affairs.
Michael's interest in the neighboring table increased when he noticed there was a dialogue in Hebrew, in addition to the one in English. His interest was triggered by the fact that "American" Bryen was talking about himself, his companions, and Israel as "we," and about the U.S. administration, to which he belongs, as "they."
I wrote about this on more than one occasion. Michael Saba wrote a famous book entitled "The Armageddon Network," of which an additional revised version is about to be published. In brief, Bryen was banned from working in the Senate, and then came back briefly. Later, he was forced to resign following Ronald Reagan's presidential victory, and the appointment of Richard Perle as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (International Security Affairs); Perle took on Bryen in his team for both of them to serve Israel.
Perle worked for pro-Israel democrat Senator "Scoop" Jackson. Bryen became the director of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), which graduated members to rule Iraq. Bryen's wife helped him in the institute for the service of Israel, while Perle's wife worked in the Department of Commerce in order to harm Arab interests.
Perle is a low person on all levels, and Michael Saba's book shows that he worked for an Israeli company and took commissions, and how he supported this company in winning Department of Defense contracts, which was criticized by the American press. Twenty-five years later, he is involved in the scandal of taking money and commissions from the Telegraph Group, through his Zionist friend Conrad Black, who resigned after he and his board members were accused of taking illegal money, and now faces trial in England and U.S.
While there were similar scandals attributed to Perle throughout the years, this is the least of the Arab reader's concerns, as the problem with people like Perle is that; despite the fact of being reputed for being loyal to Israel, they succeeded in taking the Bush administration' foreign policy hostage. Hence, it was in the hands of a bunch of men, which none was elected to represent the American people. Some Arab commentators consider Vice President Dick Cheney as the leader of this gang, but I disagree, as he is a conservative rightist, but no collaborator.
Perle hates Arabs and Muslims because of his loyalty to Israel; his book (co-written with Frum) is gorged with racism that uncovers the hatred that fills his mind and heart.
I do not need to read a book of his, or about him, to understand who he is. In the summer, Richard Perle was at one of Lake Como's (Italy) famous hotels, and said in a meeting that every morning, Saudi Arabia gives terrorist organizations checks of millions of dollars. The Arab League's Secretary General, Amro Moussa, replied that he is responsible for the ugly picture of U.S. policy; Perle tried to lie and fool around, but Moussa and his friends refused to listen to his pleas of innocence.
The Arab group turned its back to him. I hope this would be the position that every Arab and Muslim, and every peace lover would take from him.
